SEO Blog Dropped by Google
John Andrews, an SEO blogger announced that his blog was deindexed by Google. According to him, Johnon.com has not been receiving any search engine traffic from Google. And, he has been calling the attention of Google’s Matt Cutts to get it fixed.
Here’s an update as to the reason behind Johnon.com’s getting Google banned:
It’s not clear, but it seems that Google doesn’t like me discussing some of the oberved weaknesses in Google’s algorithm or Wordpress’ use of post slugs. I’m trying to get that clarified since this is a total ban and not just a ranking issue; a very serious thing.
According to Graywolf, this is nothing uncommon since John’s is already the fourth Google ban case he’s learned of. In his comment which was dated Nov. 7, Graywolf still saw something green on the pagerank bar indicating that Johnon.com wasn’t depageranked yet. But as of this time I no longer see anything on Johnon.com’s pagerank, which is an indication that Google has definitely dropped the blog from its index.
Hmmm.. Instead of abating click fraud, eh?
