With TV writing, you make your point and move on since time is always a factor. Switching gears to write for the web has been a challenge. My writing space is only limited by my Internet storage. I can also take a little longer to make a point if I so desire. I still think it’s important to grab the reader’s attention and to write concisely.
Reading other people’s work will help you broaden your writing as well as learn writing techniques. When I read something that piques my interest, I like to examine why. This can help me incorporate those elements into my own writing and possibly incur a few new readers.
