Most Searched Keywords on Google for 2006

Page and BrinThe social networks won the curiosity of most of Google search users. And this is documented by the list of Top 10 Most Searched Terms on Google for the year 2006. Bebo isthe top searched term, which is one lesser-known social network website compared to Myspace, which maybe the reason it’s highly-searched?! Huh?! The second most-searched, Myspace, is the highly sensationalized social network that has even topped Yahoo! in terms of number of searches.

Here is the complete list of Google’s Top 10 most-searched terms.

3. World Cup
4. Metacafe
5. Radioblog
6. Wikipedia
7. Video
8. Rebelde
9. Mininova
10. Wiki

If you’re wondering what Rebelde is, it is a Latino or Mexican telenovela. And a “wiki” is a user-generated content website, wherein users can easily add, delete or edit content.
