Holiday Traffic

by

Holiday traffic on the nation’s highways might be a bear but on the web it might be a different story. Since a lot of people will be out enjoying the day off from work, surfing the Internet might not be on the schedule. News will still happen and thousands of websites will be updated, and it is still important to add fresh content to your site as often as possible. It could be a lighter day for new content for websites and blogs. Since today will be a slower news day and possibly slower web traffic, it’s a great day to do some SEO housekeeping to your website.

There are probably a few projects that you have been meaning to do when it comes to SEO. It might be to finally add those meta tags or to work in a keyword into some web pages. Whatever the task is, today is a perfect day to ease off of the content and work on optimizing your website.

It might be that you have wanted to find a niche forum and join it. Being an active member of a forum is not only fun but can help to gain readership. Taking part in social networking can also help gain traffic.

So, after the barbecue and before the fireworks show, take a little time to get to one of those SEO projects that you have bookmarked to check into later.

Oh god, I just looked at my list of bookmarked sites that I wanted to visit for extensively and quickly went into depression LOL!

If anyone can donate a few extra hours a day to my life that would be awesome. I think I just need to start outsourcing some of my daily activities.

Anybody interested in eating and sleeping for me? =p

  3. Deceth Says:

And when I said for extensively, that was a sleep deprivation translation for more extensively!
